One year after my return from France, here is a video compilation of some moments lived in the summer of 2010. Leave your comments and feedback! Cheers…
The weather in South FL has been gorgeous and the hot summer days are approaching… with it, good memories!
I was contacted by Karla Bowsher, Senior Editor for the University Press at FAU asking if I could help in their upcoming special issue dedicated to studying abroad. Fortunately I was able to contribute to that issue with some of my stories and photos.
My photos were published on page 17 (“In their own words”) and in the extended version of “A broad experience” online, and I was mentioned/quoted on pages 3 (“‘Go for it’”), 16 (“Little to lose”), 17, and 18 (“Meet the experts”). The PDF version of the newspaper is available right here:

I would also like to take this opportunity and thank one of my Professors and friend Oge Marques for being my mentor during the research experience in France and for making it all happen!
Though I am an Android advocate and supporter, this clip from The Daily Show with Jon Stewart is great! For a better viewing experience press the “full screen” button on the lower right corner of the video menu.

I was talking to my co-workers about purchasing a helmet mounted camera so I can record myself snowboarding and riding my bike. One of them, Rudy Puig took his photoshop skills and put this “cheap” one together. What do you think?
Another great diagram sent over to me by Mike.
During my trip to the west I spent a couple of days in Flagstaff, AZ where there is a ski/snowboard area called Snowbowl. I recorded this video from the top of the mountain while holding a regular camera. I realized that the angle at times is not good but I decided to put it up anyway so enjoy it for what its worth! Another year has passed and as we approach the holidays I would like to take a moment and wish all of you a Merry Christmas. Weather you celebrate it or not, it is always a good time to gather the family and loved ones around and be thankful for the good things and hopeful for a better future. As for myself, the year of 2010 was very a constructive and eventful year. I have big plans for 2011 and I am looking forward to it!
I was browsing over my photos and came across this one of the skyline in Shanghai taken during my China visit back in 2008. Shanghai is a very dynamic city where westerners and easterners meet for business and/or entertainment.
